It's funny it was just talking about the fun exercise of comparing wildly different vapes. And I would put this comparison in that category.
Similarities:
They both use a torch typically to heat.
Both quite compact
Both produce vapor
That might be it for me in the similarities. The vapman...
Building on this, if you just buy the ZX and bowl you can source any 16mm coil and PID controller. Most of us were doing that before phase3 had the coils available for sale.
This is true for the ZXL but it is 20mm.
This one is interesting. It gets much hotter than that Annie's oven (1500F vs 825f) and it provides a second temperature "gear" (750f). It has a max size of 35mm, although I'm not sure about the inner diameter. This is smaller than the smaller sized D-Nail heater. Definitely could be useful...
I use mine on glass nearly every time I use it both with drop downs and without. I think the whole thing weighs less than a ball vape. Definitely weighs less than my Tinymight.
Either one you choose, you'll definitely want some new glass. I'd check out the glass section first:

If you tell us a bit more about your preferences and what you'd like it will probably help zero in on something.
There is always the cheap glass...
I still need to try that one. I fooled around with coil heating my 18mk but didn't love it. It does work great in the D-Nail Torchless heater but you have to be careful with your tongs.
One of my favorites and my most used torch vape! As you said, far too many people sleep in this one. I've considered asking for a custom with rubies, but it's just about perfect as-is.
Definitely the axial coil. The armor is a barrel coil, and would be annoying to manage it in the right spot. Also the brass is designed to expand and contract, so the armor could potentially damage your banger.
