2mm seem to be much harder to find than 3 or 4 mm . I ended up buying a bag of 1000 because i coudnt find smaller amounts anywhere else. I purchased them from terp chasers club. (you will need to message directly to see if he as any left they are not listed on his site) . Like i mentioned above Ed said in a message to me he would be offering the parts to mod them soon perhaps shoot him a message.
Thats right, I already have a shipment of 2's on the way will have balls and screens available in mod kits before long. Pls hang in there with me will habe those available ASAP. Thanks for sharing brother.

A nearly-new Woodscents that I just bought has a slight rattle when I shake it. Any advice on whether (and how) to open it up, or just leave it alone?

The rattle is normal, I wouldn’t worry about it.
Thanks, and I also got this confirmation from the man himself:
The rattle is nothing to worry about, the cores have always had a slight rattle within the air path. There is a small thin stabilizing shim that helps lessen the rattle but can still be there.

For those with more than one Woodscents, or used multiple etc. - can the heating vary from unit to unit? Like some can generally run cooler/need more volts to match another?

I’m using a new(er) cool kids upgrade unit for the first time and noticing it seems to run a bit cooler than my older model it seems.

Gonna try some other material though because it’s only the color of the AVB I’m noticing. Otherwise vapor production is on point.

And related: is <14v still the safe/recommended ceiling for the Woodscents when using a VVPS?

I have 3 Woodscents, and while I couldnt give you concrete info on exactly what voltage works best for each, I can tell you there can definitely be some small variations from one to another. I havent spent a lot of time trying to determine in any controlled manner which one needs more or less voltage, but I've just noticed small differences. In a sense I'm not even sure if some of the variation is also just do to different herbs being loaded (i.e. grind consistency and how dry it is), and other factors like water pieces being used, etc. I think this is generally true of all log vapes, but I've noticed certain ones can always run hotter than others, etc...

Also, I'm pretty sure that 14v is bit on the high side to be using the WS for any extended period. I would imagine ~12v would be the max to use/leave it at routinely. If you up higher briefly for soem pulls it might be okay, but I wouldnt leave it as high as 14v for a long time.
