Congrats. It's a great vape. You mentioned being a flavor chaser and a sipper... well the S3 can deliver that. Try a nice low temp sesh at 160c with a 30sec heat soak.

0.6g is probably fairly accurate. If I was very conservative, it's at least 0.4g. I don't have a scale to test it though, so I'm basing that on the bowl size of other vapes I own.

It really does 😋. It's my favorite stem at the moment and I love the fact that it's also a 14mm WPA as I use it with my favorite dimpled pipe for great cooling all the time. I think so. Hope you get fixed up soon!

Ok. The AVLP bowl size I thought was good for me. A nice low-temp session with a full bowl was usually 5min. With the S3 I've been managing sessions closer to 8 or 10min due to more flower in the bigger (depending on the stem) bowl. Gauging air restriction is always a tricky and subjective...

If you are looking for something pocketable and tasty then I can recommend the AVLP. It was my go-to portable for close to 2 years until I've recently fallen for the Solo3. The AVLP is a very, very tasty vape. Heats really quickly. Great battery life and even has wireless charging. Handles...

Thanks for the good info. 👍 Yeah looking for a percentage was one of the first things I tried too. Also, using no bars left to count as the last 20% is really not very intuitive. Why not just have 5 bars? It's not like the top right of the display is crowded.

Ah, that's too bad. Must be a dud. I'd send them a mail and see if they can help. My blackwood stem has been working very nicely. With the notches in the bowl and the standard metal screen the airflow has been really great. It's my go-to stem right now.

It will definitely give nice vapor... you just have to let it heat soak a bit. The tastiest temps are the lowest ones 👍

I noticed a bit of machining and/or rubber smell but it went away quickly. The silicone cap that protects the oven seems to also have some smell but it's not in the airpath. You could try removing it temporarily and see if it helps. My stock stems seem very thick and not thin at all. In...

Tried some live rosin wrapped in vaping cotton inside the XL glass WPA connected to my dimpled glass pipe. Started at 390F and got some tasty, wispy hits so I pumped up the heat to 402F and then the magic happened. Really amazing flavor. Big, cool, tasty hits. I'm gonna try some dry sift...

Electric vapes with all-glass air & vapor path?

Yeah, same. But I can appreciate someone wanting the purest materials out there if that's the peace of mind they're after.

Electric vapes with all-glass air & vapor path?

Agreed. It's nothing like just pure glass. I just don't taste the difference. As you said before, there's usually some sacrifice made whether for safety or convenience.

Electric vapes with all-glass air & vapor path?

I hear what you're saying. In theory artisan vapes could be thought of as simpler and use less materials which are processed. The reasoning has some legs. Everyone has their own tolerances for material safety. However just because we believe something is more or less pure doesn't make it so...

Electric vapes with all-glass air & vapor path?

I've tried this and it works great. It's easy to handle and it's so small that the risk of a bad burn is minimal. However, the temp control is far from "electrically controlled" in the sense that the user has to know when to remove the Wand. Has a learning curve. I think the new Solo3 might...
