i definitely dont think its vapor build up. Check my picture a few pages back it's a perfect circle at the top of where the wand adapter heats the tempest.

So I noticed on MH website if you go to tempest accessories there are some new things showing. Visual indicator, visual spring, CLICK DISKS! It says WS next to it whatever that means and when I click on it it just says add account when the other accessories takes me to the item. It must be close...

Same thing happened to @Hookahhead_MD . Etsy is weird like that they'll leave certain 420 products and ban others. I saw his shop and would possibly like a purple heart stem for the tempest

I heat it with the tempest head facing down. A little reclaim builds up from the escaping vapor but it's more at the bottom of the cup. I'm almost positive it wasn't like that when I got it. Either way, I love this thing and the reload!

No I used a leather case or my reload to open it almost exclusively. It almost looks like a perfect ring at the top of where the wand would heat. I know the raw metal discoloration is from my hands, but its where the purple titanium is. It has changed a different shade of purple.

I've noticed some discoloration on my cap. There's a ring that goes around on the purple part of the cap.

Took the tempest out on the lake fishing with me today. I love this thing! Can't wait for the final release. Any update when that'll be? release

this is what ive been using for my tepest case and it fits perfect. Bought on stockyard exchange for 15 bucks. Just if anybody needs a case now.

Yo that is really nice. I've looked at his stems before and wondered how the acrylic mix would hold up to the heat. Love the colors on the stem with the tempest.

Yeah the glass doesn't get too hot to hold. Same with the midsection. They're pretty thick glass as well.

What I'm saying is twisting the tempest head or changing the mouthpiece isn't going to change your high. Putting it in full bowl and finishing it in 1 heat up might.

Idk I personally don't think convection vs conduction are going to give you that much of different highs. Either way it's just thc and terps getting absorbed into your lungs. Maybe try different strains.

I was using mine with stock 3mm zrc at 600f and I've found over the last week with 3mm boro 500f-510f my sweet spot. Even at like 550f I was scorching the top of the bowl, sometimes coming really close to combustion.

I just got my factory second reload in purple and the thing is perfect. I see nothing that would make it a 2nd, so thanks for that! Also the decapper underneath the lid blew my mind. Seems safer opening the lid and using the underside rather than the top to take the head off. Been using the 3mm...

So I've been messing with the 3mm boro, and for me I had to turn the wand almost back to 550. Still tasted burnt on the first pull. Definitely like the zrc more ATM. Boro may be better for half bowl 1 and done with a quicker heat up time just IMO.

So the head, along with vi and click disks can be iso soaked without damage? That box is an awesome idea!

I just took my stock zrc balls out to clean and put 3mm boro in. I turned the wand down from 600 to like 580 and combust 1st pull. Don't think I've combust once with the stock balls even at 600. I'm pretty sure my zrc are 3mm not 2.5, there seemed to be roughly 45. The boro Def made me cough...
